Bluebird
“The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.”
Name:
Bluebird
Prefix:
Blue- for blue colour of pelt
Suffix:
Bird- for skittish behavior
Age:
28 moons
Gender:
Male
Sexual Orientation:
Homosexual
Physical Description:
Rather thin, lithe, and not very muscular. Long limbs, and narrow face.
Appearance:
A spindly blue Peterbald cat with blue fur and a much lighter underbelly and chest. Large, luminous green-yellow eyes and narrow face, Long limbs and thin tail, with not much fur at all. White muzzle and pink nose.
Personality:
Frankly, Bluebird was almost getting annoyed by his own over-the-top reflexes. It wasn't normal, and he knew it-but he simply couldn't help it. He'd assumed that he'd just get over it when he got older, but no- it only got worse from there. Bluebird would jump at the sound of birds tweeting, the sound of padding feet-everything. It seemed like all of his senses were over the top; as if he had the ears of a blind cat. As a kit and apprentice, he was teased occasionally; and often times others would try to scare him. They always succeeded. You'd think that after twenty moons of living like this, one would get used to it-right? Not in this tom's case. Ever the jumpy, and always.
Another quirk of his was also his inability to sit still. This didn't disadvantage him, not really though, and he was able to sit for a while, but he always had to be moving. Be it his tail swishing back and forth, or his front paws kneading the ground, Bluebird was unable to sit still. While this was an annoyance, he had the personality of a cat who was calm. Bluebird didn't have much of a temper- not really, and was hardly ever grumpy. But he wasn't overly excited and perky, either. He was friendly and pretty chill, if you ignored his constant moving. He was pretty funny at times, and would occasionally try to joke to brighten the mood. But Bluebird was deep, and liked to have serious conversations with others, and liked to try to help- almost in a therapeutic way.
Either way, he was an odd cat. Always twitching, moving, or startled, but it was as if his personality was trying to counteract his skittish nature. His personality and reactions just didn't quite fit, in an odd yet interesting way. It was as if he had the personality of a calm, gentle warrior and the reactions and skittishness of a nervous kit. He never seemed quite settled or comfortable, and yet the way he acted made it seem like he was perfectly fine with his surroundings.
Traits:
Calm, skittish, jumpy, loyal
Mental Health:
9/10
Flaws:
unable to sit still, confusing at times, very skittish
Virtues:
Loves to help, great listener, very loyal
Likes:
helping others, quiet.
Dislikes:
any sort of distractions
